Algebra & Physics Study Books for Students

AI Tapz Team · October 7, 2026

A good study book does three things: it explains an idea plainly, it shows the idea being used step by step, and it makes you practise until you can do it without looking. We've published two study books that do exactly that — one for algebra, one for physics — and both come as finished, printable documents you can hand to a class or work through on your own.

Algebra Foundations

The Algebra Foundations Student Study Book takes a student from working confidently with numbers to drawing straight-line graphs, in five chapters:

  • Numbers and the order of operations — negative numbers on the number line, and why (−3)² is 9 but −3² is −9.
  • Algebraic expressions — like terms, expanding brackets and substitution.
  • Linear equations — the balance method, variables on both sides, and turning a word problem into an equation.
  • Inequalities — including the one rule that catches everyone: reverse the sign when you multiply or divide by a negative.
  • Straight-line graphs — tables of values, slope and y = mx + b.

Examples are solved step by step, and every solved equation ends with a check, so students learn to prove their own answers. Each chapter closes with a practice set, and a final chapter gives a four-week revision plan, the five most common algebra mistakes and exam technique.

Forces & Motion

The Forces & Motion Physics Study Guide covers the core of mechanics: describing motion, acceleration and the equations of motion, Newton's three laws, momentum, and work, energy and power. Every equation comes with its units, and every worked example follows the same habit — write the equation, substitute, give the answer with its unit.

Each chapter also has a misconception check: the wrong idea most students bring to the topic, and why it's wrong. "Heavier objects fall faster." "A moving object needs a force to keep it moving." "Doubling the speed doubles the kinetic energy." Naming the misconception is often what makes the right idea stick.

Answers you can trust

Both books end with a full answer key, with the working shown for multi-step questions. The physics guide uses g = 9.8 m/s² throughout and says so, so the numbers in the answers match the numbers students get.

Ready to print, or made your own

Each book opens with a designed cover and a contents page, and every inside page has a header, footer and page number. Download it as a PDF to print, or as a Word file to edit. Put your school name and logo on the cover first, and it looks like your own course material.

Teaching a different level or curriculum? Use AI edit to rewrite the whole book — for example "Grade 10, add quadratics and simultaneous equations" or "A-level, use g = 9.81 m/s², add circular motion". The AI rewrites every chapter and the answer key together, so you never end up with half a book. As with any AI rewrite, check the new answer key against your own working before handing it out.
