How it works

  1. 1

    Upload your PDF

A drawing exported from CAD (vector), up to 20 pages and 50 MB.

  2. 2

    Check the price

You see the exact maximum before anything is taken from your wallet.

  3. 3

    AI converts it

The AI reads the title block for the scale, checks every page and converts the vector lines.

  4. 4

    Download the DXF

One DXF per page in a ZIP, in metres or millimetres, ready to open in CAD.

Before you convert

Scanned drawings

  • This tool needs a vector PDF — one exported ("plotted") from CAD, where you can zoom in without the lines going blurry.
  • A scan or photo of a paper drawing is only pixels: there are no lines in it to convert. The AI checks every page first, and scanned pages are skipped and never charged.
  • If every page is scanned, the run is rejected and the whole reserved amount goes straight back to your wallet.
  • A PDF that mixes both (a scanned background with CAD linework on top) converts the linework only.

Accuracy — what to expect

  • Lines, polylines, rectangles and hatching are copied from the PDF's own geometry — not traced or redrawn — so positions are as exact as the PDF itself.
  • Scale is the one thing to check: confirm one known dimension in CAD before relying on it. If the title block says "1:1000 on A1" but the PDF is A3, the AI corrects it to 1:2000 and tells you.
  • Curves come through as short straight segments (about 0.5 mm on paper each), close enough for checking and tracing but not true arcs.
  • Text that was real text in the PDF stays editable. Text the CAD program turned into outlines arrives as shapes.
  • A PDF doesn't carry the original layers, blocks, dimension objects or line types, so they can't be recovered: layers are rebuilt by line colour, dimensions arrive as lines and text.
  • Images and logos inside the PDF are left out. White masking boxes behind labels are removed.

Pricing that protects your wallet

  • $1.00 per page, with a $1.00 minimum per run. A very heavy file counts one page per 5 MB, so a single 20 MB sheet is $4.00.
  • You see the maximum price before you confirm. That amount is reserved from your wallet, and you're never charged more than it.
  • Pages that are scanned or blank aren't charged. A run that fails or is rejected costs nothing — the reserved amount is returned automatically.
  • One run is capped at 20 pages and 50 MB ($20.00 at most), and you can have two runs in progress at a time, so nothing can drain your wallet unattended.

Your files

  • Your PDF is processed in an isolated sandbox with no internet access, and deleted as soon as the run finishes.
  • The converted DXF stays downloadable from this page for 30 days, then it's deleted. Only your account is shown the download link.
