Usage instructions
6 pages, each a complete, self-contained HTML page — a sweet, hand-made bakery design: a cream hero with a pile of tilted polaroid photos, a striped pink awning over the header, scalloped edges between pastel pink, butter, pistachio and cream bands, a pink gingham menu band, Lora (with Lora italic captions) over rounded Nunito, and cards with dotted "piped icing" borders. 1. Home (index.html) — polaroid hero, "fresh today" ribbon, tabbed "In the case today" menu, count-up badges, oven-timer bake schedule, custom cake and wedding teasers, reviews, hours. 2. Menu (menu.html) — the full tabbed menu (Breads, Viennoiserie & Pastries, Cakes & Slices, Cookies & Bars, Gluten-free) with prices and allergen chips, bake schedule, boxes by the dozen, allergen key and statement. 3. Custom Cakes (cakes.html) — a working cake builder, a cake polaroid wall, four ordering steps, a small-celebration price list and a cake FAQ (FAQPage markup). 4. Weddings & Events (weddings.html) — tasting appointment steps, a polaroid wall, three dessert-table packages, per-slice wedding cake pricing and reviews. 5. Our Story (story.html) — who we are, a timeline that fills as you scroll, local sourcing cards, count-up badges and a promise. 6. Order & Visit (order.html) — pre-order form, cut-off times, hours table, illustrated map, custom cake inquiry note, allergen statement, pickup FAQ. ANIMATION. The hero polaroids drop in one after another and land at a tilt, sprinkles float in the hero and the call-to-action bands, the "fresh today" ribbon scrolls, the badge numbers count up (they read the number you type), the bake-schedule line and the story timeline fill as you scroll, the oven-timer hands tick, round badges and step numbers wiggle on hover, and sections rise in as you scroll. Everything is visible without JavaScript, and visitors who ask for reduced motion see a still page. MENU TABS. "In the case today" tabs switch shelves; each panel is a normal list of cards, so edit, duplicate or delete items directly. Allergen chips are plain text — update them whenever a recipe changes. The home page shows the first three items of each shelf; the Menu page shows all six. CAKE BUILDER. It works in the browser: each size option carries its base price and servings (data-price, data-serves), each sponge, filling, frosting and decoration its per-tier surcharge (data-add) and any extra lead time (data-days), and each tier choice its price multiplier, servings multiplier and extra days (data-mult, data-serves-mult, data-days). The form's data-base-days (3) is the minimum notice and data-deposit (50) the deposit percentage. It takes no orders — its button links to the cake inquiry section on the Order & Visit page; point it at your own form or ordering tool. HOURS. The hours table highlights today's row automatically: each row's data-days lists its weekdays (0 = Sunday … 6 = Saturday). Update it with your schedule. FONTS. Lora (regular and italic) and Nunito load from Google Fonts via @font-face in each page's style block, with Georgia and system sans-serif fallbacks. SEO. Each page opens with a labeled block (title, meta description, canonical link, Open Graph tags and JSON-LD — Bakery with hasMenu and openingHoursSpecification, a Menu with every item and price, FAQPage, Service with package offers, AboutPage and ContactPage). Copy it into your real <head> when you deploy, and update the domain, address, hours, menu and rating. FORMS. The pre-order form posts nowhere — connect it to your online ordering, email or form service before publishing. The cake builder only estimates. EDITING. Change colors and fonts site-wide in the editor's Theme panel; edit the header or footer once and use "Apply to all pages"; sections can be moved, duplicated, hidden or deleted; use the Tablet and Mobile views for device-specific tweaks. CLAIMS & SAMPLE CONTENT. The bakery name, founder, address, phone, licence number, prices, cake and package pricing, lead times, deposit terms, supplier names and distances, statistics and reviews are fictional placeholders — replace them with your own. Keep an allergen statement that matches your kitchen (the sample says it handles wheat, dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy and sesame and can't guarantee any item is allergen-free), and only describe items as gluten-free if you meet your local labelling rules — the sample uses "no gluten ingredients" for that reason. Replace the licence placeholder with your real food establishment, retail bakery or cottage food permit, and check what your state requires you to display. IMAGES. All photography is real Unsplash stock, self-hosted under /content-images. No photo shows a recognisable face (the cake-decorating shot shows a hand only). The polaroid captions are editable text — rename them to your own bakes, and swap in photos of your real cakes and case.
